Nice to meet you. I’m Mackenzie.

As a dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in aesthetics, I've spent years perfecting my craft in Metro Detroit, training clinicians in safe, effective injectable techniques. From using neuromodulators like Botox, Jeuveau, and Dysport, to patient consultations and complication management, my hands-on approach ensures you gain the practical skills that translate directly to your practice. My Background

A healthcare professional wearing blue gloves is administering a facial injection to a woman with blonde hair.

A woman with light brown hair tied in a messy bun, wearing a black shirt and blue gloves, appears to be administering a cosmetic injection to a person with blonde hair, in a clinic setting with a gray brick wall in the background.

I’m a dual-specialty, board-certified PA who grew up in Metro-Detroit MI. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Sciences from Oakland University and discovered my passion for anatomy and education early when I served as a human anatomy supplemental instructor, cadaver laboratory teaching assistant, and peer tutor in anatomy & physiology at OU.

I then spent two years working in ophthalmology, where I first studied and worked with neuromodulators like Botox for both therapeutic and cosmetic uses. My experience led me to Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s PA program. I finished my education at PCOM training in reconstructive plastic surgery and authored my thesis on the effectiveness of Botulinum Toxin A improving the appearance of facial scarring.

I returned to Michigan post-graduation and joined a start-up concierge aesthetics practice in Grosse Pointe and helped build it from the ground up, including co-founding an in-house 3-day training program that took inexperienced APPs and developed them into confident, independent injectors. Over the past few years, I have also practiced in urgent care and currently work in neuro & vascular interventional radiology, giving me a unique, well-rounded perspective in medicine.

Teaching has always been my true calling. That’s why I founded Michigan Injector Academy - to share everything I’ve learned in a hands-on, small-group setting so the next generation of Michigan providers can start strong, stay safe, and build thriving careers in aesthetics or dermatology.

I can’t wait to help you do the same. I’ll have your back through the whole process.
