Academy founder, Mackenzie Cooney, PA-C, personally trains each medical professional prior to any hands-on injections and directly supervises every single injection. Being a patient model poses no additional safety or aesthetics risk and guarantees that you get an amazing deal on an amazing treatment.
Mackenzie has previously successfully trained over 20 injectors and overseen more than 100 patient models, with no adverse outcomes reported. All trainees are licensed medical professionals that actively practice clinical medicine in a variety of backgrounds such as surgical subspecialties, dermatology, and emergency medicine. You can feel confident knowing every injection is performed with precision, oversight, and the highest medical standards.

Exclusions: Please do NOT sign up to be a patient model if you:
Can’t avoid sweating within the next 48 hours (sauna, high intensity workout, etc)
Plan to get a massage, facial, or other cosmetic facial procedures within seven days
Have an active autoimmune flare
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Recently took aminoglycoside antibiotics (gentamicin, tobramycin, amikacin, neomycin, and streptomycin)
Have a known allergy or hypersensitivity to botulinum toxin or any of its components (e.g., human albumin)
Have a history of anaphylaxis to injectable neurotoxins
